He received his residency training in Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility at Duke University in 1985. He served as director of the division of Reproductive Endocrinology at The University of Florida until 1988 when he relocated to Tampa.

Samuel Tarantino Jr., MD serves as the Medical Director of the Reproductive Medicine Group's IVF and Surgery Center. Following the completion of his Ob/Gyn residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, he received his Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility training at The Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center. He has been practicing Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility in the Tampa Bay area since 1993.

Dr. Tarantino is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Ob/Gyn at The University of South Florida. He has been honored with an Award for Excellence in Operative Laparoscopy and has taught numerous courses in advanced laparoscopic techniques. He is also fluent in Spanish.

Sandy Goodman, MD received her residency training in Ob/Gyn at Harvard University's Brigham and Woman's/Massachusetts General Hospitals program. She received her subspecialty training in Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility at the Johns Hopkins Medical Hospital and serves as Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Ob/Gyn at the University of South Florida.

Dr. Goodman is a member of the Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and the Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology. Timothy Yeko, MD received his training in Ob/Gyn from the University of Illinois and fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility at UCLA Harbor Medical Center and The University of Illinois. Dr. Yeko is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Ob/Gyn at the University of South Florida.

Dr. Yeko has served on many academic committees and has authored numerous scientific research and clinical articles. He has been the recipient of more than 30 research grants and has been distinguished with multiple teaching awards.

Dr. Yeko has been in practice in the Tampa area since 1989 and joined the Reproductive Medicine Group in 2000.

Infertility- NC; Raleigh- Grace Couchman, MD
Grace Couchman, MD of Carolina Conception in Raleigh, North Carolina received her M.D. from the University of Colorado School of Medicine in 1985. She completed an OB/GYN residency at Duke University Medical Center, North Carolina in 1989. She was a member of the general OB/GYN practice at Duke for two years before entering advanced training in the Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Fellowship Program at Duke from 1991-94. During her fellowship, Dr. Couchman spent one year at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) as a visiting researcher. She is the only board certified female in both OB/GYN and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) in the triangle.

Until co-founding Carolina Conceptions in 2006, she served as director of Duke’s IVF Program. While at Duke, she developed special expertise in several aspects of infertility treatment including: in vitro fertilization (IVF), intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), ovulation induction, general infertility, reproductive endocrinology, endometriosis, andrology, therapeutic donor insemination, uterine fibroids, endoscopic surgery and infertility microsurgery (reversal of tubal ligation). She developed the ICSI program at Duke which assists couples who suffer from male factor infertility.

Infertility- NC; Raleigh- William Meyer, MD
William Meyer, MD of Carolina Conception in Raleigh, North Carolina grew up in Virginia, attended Washington and Lee University then received his M.D. from the University of Virginia in 1983. He completed an OB/GYN residency at Emory University and then went to Yale University Hospital where he completed advanced training in a Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Fellowship in 1990. He is board certified in both OB/GYN and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, and he has served on the board certification committee as an examiner. Dr. William Meyer is on the editorial staff of the academic journal Fertility and Sterility. He has been voted as one of the “Best Doctors in America ” from 2003-2007. He served for several years on the credentialing committee of the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technologies (SART)—the only national standard database for reproductive medicine practitioners.

Before co-founding Carolina Conceptions in 2006, Dr. William Meyer served as director of University of North Carolina’s IVF Program. He was on faculty at UNC for 13 years. He founded and headed the UNC Assisted Reproductive Technologies Ethics Committee. His special interest and clinical expertise include: in vitro fertilization (IVF), ovulation induction, endometriosis, therapeutic donor insemination, uterine fibroids, and hysteroscopy.
